Renewing Our Visual Identity
As the St Helena Bay Business Chamber moves forward into a new year, the committee embarked on a journey to refresh the Chamber’s visual identity. Recognising the importance of a logo that truly reflects the spirit of our town and its vibrant business community, the committee undertook the process of revamping the Chamber’s emblem.
The result is a design that honours St Helena Bay’s unique heritage while symbolising progress, collaboration, and a shared vision for the future.

Introducing Our New Logo
We are proud to present the new logo for the St Helena Bay Business Chamber, a design inspired by the history, character, and aspirations of our vibrant community. Central to the logo is the iconic square lighthouse at Shelley Point, a cherished symbol of our coastal heritage.
The lighthouse represents guidance, safety, and vision—qualities essential for navigating challenges and embracing opportunities. Its distinctive square shape reminds us of the unique identity of St Helena Bay and the fishing village origins that have shaped our story.
With its clean and adaptable design, the logo embodies our mission to foster collaboration, drive progress, and light the way toward a sustainable and prosperous future for all.

Legend of the new St Helena Bay Business Chamber identity
At the heart of our new logo is the iconic square lighthouse at Shelley Point, a landmark synonymous with St Helena Bay. This fittingly chosen symbol encapsulates our town’s unique character and its deep connection to the ocean.
Why the Lighthouse?
- Heritage: As one of the most recognisable features of St Helena Bay, the lighthouse represents our maritime roots and the guiding light it has provided to seafarers for generations.
- Symbolism: A lighthouse is a beacon of guidance, safety, and hope. For the Chamber, it reflects our mission to support and guide local businesses through challenges, illuminating the way toward success and prosperity.
- Identity: It is uniquely St Helena Bay, grounding our logo in a sense of place and pride.
Design Considerations
The logo design respects both tradition and modern functionality:
- Technical Versatility: The lighthouse silhouette is clear and distinct, ensuring it works effectively in various iterations—whether as a detailed logo, a simplified avatar for social media, or a favicon for browser tabs. Its recognisability at smaller scales ensures it retains impact across all platforms.
- Colour Palette: The colours for the logo were sampled directly from photographs of our shoreline and ocean. This palette includes shades of blue, turquoise, aquamarine, and sandy tones, reflecting the vibrant beauty of our coastal environment. These colours evoke a sense of calm, vitality, and connection to nature, resonating with the spirit of St Helena Bay.
The Tagline
- The tagline “Charting a course for progress and collaboration” reflects the unique identity and mission of the St Helena Bay Business Chamber. St Helena Bay, with its rich heritage as a fishing village, embodies resilience and forward momentum. Drawing on this maritime legacy, the phrase “charting a course” symbolises deliberate planning and direction, vital for steering the local economy towards growth.
- The emphasis on “progress” underlines the chamber’s commitment to fostering innovation and development within the community. At the same time, “collaboration” highlights the value of partnerships, recognising that collective efforts drive shared success. Together, these elements capture the chamber’s vision: to honour tradition while building a thriving, united future for all businesses in the region.
A Symbol for All
The lighthouse not only honours our history but also serves as an aspirational symbol for our community—a reminder that we stand together, looking toward the horizon, ready to embrace the opportunities the future holds. It is a mark of unity, resilience, and hope for every business and individual within the Chamber.
We believe this emblem perfectly captures the essence of St Helena Bay and the spirit of our Chamber. We look forward to implementing our new identity and present this new chapter in our shared story.
